The popular end-of-season Fidelity Couples road race is set for this Sunday, starting at 8.30 a.m. on East Broadway.

As usual, the event features teams of two – one competing over five kilometres and the other over five miles with the aggregate time deciding the various group winners.

Chris and Ashley Estwanik, winners of the men's and women's divisions at the recent Bermuda Day Half-Marathon Derby will be favourites to lift the overall title should they decide to compete.

Teams for the open category should consist of one female and one male. Family teams can consist of two males or two females – mother/daughter or father/son or brother/sister.

Registration closes today at 5 p.m. with entry forms available online (www.maac.bm/ or www.bermudatiming.bm) or at local sports shops.

A charity 5K walk will also be held to raise funds for the Family Centre.
