Parliamentarians from around the world have arrived in Bermuda for a six-day meeting at the Fairmont Hamilton Princess.
The Island is hosting the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association's (CPA) mid-year executive meeting for the first time from today until Saturday.
Premier Ewart Brown and Governor Sir Richard Gozney will host receptions for the overseas contingent, which will include CPA general secretary William Shija, from London, as well as politicians from numerous countries including Malaysia, the British Virgin Islands, Tanzania, Kenya and Pakistan.
The meeting is being held to finalise plans for the CPA's plenary conference in Tanzania this September.
The Bermuda Branch of the CPA is chaired by Senate President Carol Anne Bassett.
