Prom arrests
A policeman was injured and three teenagers were arrested after the CedarBridge Academy prom in Hamilton at the weekend.
Police said officers attended a disturbance on the corner of Church Street and Parliament Street at about 2.30 a.m. on Saturday morning.
"On arrival a large crowd of young people were seen outside Greg's Steakhouse, which was the venue for the CedarBridge prom," said a Bermuda Police Service spokesman.
"Despite the crowd being somewhat rowdy, there was no fighting taking place. Officers from various Police units then assisted in moving the crowd out of the intersection and the individuals subsequently dispersed."
He said an officer was injured during the incident and was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for treatment of swelling to his nose. He was later released.
Police arrested two males, aged 17 and 18, from Hamilton Parish, and a 16-year-old girl from Devonshire, for obstruction.
