The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange fell 44.92 points, closing at 3,924.91, yesterday with both Butterfield Bank and Bermuda Press (Holdings) Ltd shares dropping value.

Butterfield Bank stock fell $0.25 (two percent) to close at $12.25 after 27,983 shares changed hands.

Bermuda Press registered a four percent drop ($0.50), closing at $12 after 9,300 shares traded.

The only other active stock yesterday was Argus Group Holdings, which closed unchanged at $13.70 after 150 shares were traded.

The Bermuda Insurance Index was also down for the day, falling 7.41 points to 937.45.
