BSX drops 43.68 points

The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index dropped 43.68 points as Butterfield Bank hit a 52-week low.
Butterfield dropped 25 cents to $13.15 a share – 25 cents belows its 52-week high – on volume of 42,785 shares.
No other shares changed price yesterday, atlhough trading was moderately heavy.
Bermuda Press (Holdings) Ltd., the owner of The Royal Gazette, saw 1,500 shares change hands at $12.50. And KeyTech was unchanged at $12.25 on volume of 3,100.
A total of 47,385 shares worth $624,361.25 were traded as the Index closed at 4,147.37.
With Wall Street stocks taking a battering, the Bermuda Insurasnce Index also dropped, declining 1.29 percent to 1,036.05.
