recently won the New Jersey State Prep School cross country championships in Blairstown over a 3.1 mile course.

Ferguson clocked 19.38, crossing the line just one second ahead of defending state champion Sarah Tindall of the Pingry School.

The victory kept intact her unbeaten record in dual meets and invitationals this season. She has also recently placed first at both the Newark Academy and Canterbury School invitational meets.
