And the party is set to plump for Rodney Smith, a developer, to fight the rock-solid United Bermuda Party seat, made vacant by the resignation of former Youth and Sport Minister David Dyer at the end of last month.

He will contest the seat against former Government planning director Erwin Adderley -- adopted unopposed as the United Bermuda Party candidate -- and possibly Graeme Outerbridge of the National Liberal Party.
