Dear Sir,
faith in human nature. This happened to me recently when I met Myron Galloway.
I was enduring one of those days when everything was going horribly wrong. The rain was pouring and I was driving a friend's car full of equipment that was urgently needed in Dockyard.
At Barnes' Corner the car stopped and would not restart. I was wondering what I was going to do when Myron pulled up beside me. He asked what was wrong and then proceeded to help me.
He moved my car out of the road, directed traffic around the transmission fluid that had leaked from my engine and caused it to stall and then spread sand over the oily road to prevent any further accidents.
He then took me and my car full of equipment to Dockyard.
At a time when people had reduced my belief in human nature, it was wonderful to meet someone who was so willing to give of themselves.
Thank you for giving me this opportunity to thank Myron and let me just ask anyone who meets him in the future to remember what a kind soul he is.
STEPHANIE HILL, Paget Players unrewarded April 29, 2001 Dear Sir, The reason that Bermuda can't & probably won't ever make it to the World Cup is plain & simple: not enough skills and no pay.
What's the sense of trying to go for glory if the players aren't getting paid for their efforts? KPSS, Pembroke
