But service will not be completely back to normal due to a backlog of garbage.

The Ministry of Works and Engineering yesterday said that workers would first focus on those areas that would have normally had their garbage collected on Monday and Tuesday.

Officials added that those neighbourhoods that usually receive service on Wednesdays might not have their garbage collected until today or Friday.

The collection delays were the result of Works and Engineering workers leaving their posts to attend an arbitration hearing in Hamilton earlier this week.
