bowed out of the Royal Mail Cup at the semifinal stage due to a 3-1 loss to southern Ireland's Wilton United.

Despite dominating much of the proceedings Bermuda fell to their first defeat of the competition as vital finishing touches were lacking. Wilton surged ahead 20 minutes into the first half where it remained until the half.

However, Bermuda were made to pay for several misses early in the second as Wilton made it 2-0 15 minutes following the restart. And 30 seconds later the knock-out punch was delivered when the Irish notched a third.

Resiliency was shown by the Bermuda lads who charged back, having Keemo Smith diving in to convert a Damon Ming cross, but in the end they were left to rue wasted lost opportunities.
