Sharina Anne Tuzo, 18, and Jermaine Noel Pearman, 26 both of Bob's Valley, Sandys Parish, are charged with manslaughter and murder, respectively, in the death of Saed Rami Nadir Young. The baby suffered a fractured skull and collarbone and was on a life support system for a short time before succumbing to his injuries late last month.

The couple, who were denied bail, will return to court on October 10 when a decision on a short term or long term preliminary inquiry is expected.
