intend to press charges.
The couple, of Greenwich Lane, said the latest row between them and their neighbour occurred on Thursday morning.
The male complainant told Police that around 8.30 a.m. his neighbour came to their door and attempted to enter.
The elderly man tried to resist by holding an aluminium grill up against the screen of the door.
However, the grill broke and the neighbour was able to enter. The couple alleged that once inside, the man punched the complainant in the back.
He was subsequently knocked to the ground and sustained minor injuries to his elbow and nose.
EXPANISON NOW PLN Expansion row A Nursery's expansion plans has pitted the Corporation of Hamilton against the Minister of the Environment.
A writ was recently filed in the Supreme Court by the City against Environment Minister John Irving Pearman over his decision to back the Development Applications Board's approval of Woodmont Nursery's expansion plans.
During the summer, the corporation had appealed the DAB's decision to approve the nursery school's expansion plans.
But Mr. Pearman upheld the Board's decision on August 26 and the writ cites that August 26 decision.
