Administration office on a daily basis that everything is running smoothly. I
will see to it that if there are problems within the Service, that all of my Senior Officers are open for anyone to go and talk to them. I would try and mix with the public from all walks of life as much as possible. I would keep in touch with the Government so that I can work along with them, not against them or the Opposition Party. Everyday I will go with a different section of my Police Officers to see how they are getting along with the public. I would visit the schools and church groups to see what input I can get from it. Then I would try to set up a youth club so that the Police and the youth of this Island can get together as one. I would try my best to get more Bermudians in the Police Force so that one day Bermuda would be able to look back and say that we have a full-time Bermuda Police Force. I will set up the group to visit the sick and shut in, to see what is needed. I will organise groups to have functions to raise funds to help the less privileged. I would like to see that my officers know what prayer is and knew prayer can help the community to get together and overcome any obstacle that gets in the way. I would like to talk with the parents and teachers in each of the Parishes to see if the Police Force can be any help to them and to see how the relationship could be improved. I would welcome any member of the public whether if it is at night or day, to get in touch with me about the Police Force no matter how big or small the problem is. At the end of my career as a Commissioner of Police I would hope that everything I have set out to accomplish has been accomplished.
