Scottish Junior Open currently being played in Edinburgh.

From an Under-14 field of 26, 13-year-old Kyme has made it through to the quarter-final stage following his defeat yesterday of Scotland's third ranked player in that age division, Adrian Livingstone.

Kyme defeated the Scot 7-9, 9-0, 9-5, 9-3, and today meets Ireland's third ranked Mark Lyttle for a place in the semi-finals.

Last year the young Bermudian competed in the same event, finishing in 17th position.
