In a spirited A Division final Coolies, made up of the likes of Lisa Dragon, Elisa Stubbs, Mark Monaghan and Kelly Hartnett, required three games to eventually dispose of East Sand (Bev Kaplen, Wendy Cummings, Mark Bell, Dan Franchak) 11-4, 9-11, 11-7.

Earlier Coolies had defeated Smash Hits in one semi-final 2-11, 11-5, 11-3, while East Sand ousted Dream Team 11-5, 11-7.

Among the B Division, Barracudas were at their menacing best, first defeating KPMG 8-11, 11-1, 11-9 to earn a berth in the final where they devoured Dig & Scramble 9-11, 11-4, 11-7. Dig & Scramble had made it through by edging Spiked Punch 11-6, 6-11, 12-10.
