temporarily -- when they clash with Devonshire Cougars at PHC as league action resumes.

The Portuguese club currently occupy second place in the 10-team division, while Cougars stand eighth. Dandy Town head the table with 13 points compared to 11 for Vasco and North Village.

However, while Vasco enter as prohibitive favourites, Devonshire should not be taken lightly, having shown great improvement over recent weeks after a slow start.

On the other hand, Vasco have appeared far removed from the side some were predicting to sweep through unchallenged, winning just once in their last five outings, losing twice in that span and twice being held to draws.

A win for Vasco would place them in solid position for a berth in the Dudley Eve Trophy, with spots awarded to the top four teams at the half-way mark.

Preceding will be a Second Division encounter featuring Social Club and Hamilton Parish.

A win would put the Bluebirds on par with leaders Somerset and second placed Hotels at 13 points, while Parish will want to add some respectability to a season that so far has been mediocre at best.
