Northlands lift KO crown
with a 7-5 victory over Bermuda High School in the final at Bernard Park.
However, the real stunner came in the semi-finals where Northlands upset favourites and neighbours Berkeley.
Regulation ended with the teams level at 6-6, necessitating overtime which similarly failed to reveal a winner with the score locked again at 11-11.
Sudden death was then called into play with Northlands scoring first to take the victory.
BHS, meanwhile, got past Warwick Secondary 8-7 in the other semi- final.
The final saw Northlands move into a 3-2 half-time lead only to have BHS draw back level at 4-4. Northlands then responded with two straight goals, going on to win 7-5.
