The Health Department chose October as the month to increase awareness of strengthening the family and maintaining the well-being of all children.
It has been an opportunity for local organisations and agencies to show parents what is on offer in terms of family support and advice on the Island.
Tomorrow, children aged eight and over, will have an opportunity to prepare their Halloween costumes for later this month.
Free tickets are available from the Youth Library for the Halloween Costume Workshop and Fashion Show which will be held at the library on Church Street, Hamilton, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Children, aged 12 and under, will be able to gain free admission to the Crystal Caves in Bailey's Bay tomorrow.
Also tomorrow a family rally will be held at the Elliott Primary School, on Hermitage Road in Devonshire.
The event will be open to all families and speakers include representatives of the New Testament Church of God and the Miracle Temple. It runs from 5 p.m.-8 p.m.
On Sunday, a parent's forum has been organised by the Key Women of Bermuda at the Wesley Methodist Church Hall, in Church Street, Hamilton. Mrs. Neletha Butterfield will speak on the topic "Recapture Our Children,'' beginning at 4 p.m.
The Belmont Hotel in Warwick will host a family fun day between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. Activities include swimming, mini-golf, soccer and croquet.
Lindo's Dairy Farm, Zuill's Park, Smith's is open to children accompanied by an adult throughout the month. The National Gallery in City Hall is open tomorrow to accompanied children.
