Three Bermudians struck gold on Wednesday with swimmers Crystal Jones and Charles Burnard both winning their 50 metre freestyle races. Another gold was added by athlete Patricia Philpott in the 25 metre motor walk.

The Island's bocce and bowling teams both won silver medals as did swimmer Devone Signor in the 50 metres freestyle, and a bronze went to equestrian Paul Ray in the Western Stock Seat A Division.

The Games continue today and tomorrow.
