Man, 42, dies after falling off ladder
One man fell to his death from a ladder, and another collapsed and died on drug rehabilitation course Camp Spirit, it was revealed yesterday.
Arthur Trott, 42, of Leacraft Hill Road, Southampton, suffered head injuries after plunging from the ladder while carrying out renovation work on a home in Pieces of Eight Lane, St. George's, on Friday at 3.45 p.m.
Police said he was treated at the scene and then taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital, where he was put in intensive care. He died as a result of his injuries at 4.35 a.m. on Saturday.
In the other incident, Bryant Tucker was found in a non-responsive state after collapsing at Camp Spirit, on Darrell's Island, on Wednesday at 8.20 a.m.
Mr. Tucker, 44, was taken via Police boat to Barr's Bay Park, and then by ambulance to KEMH. He remained in intensive care before passing away on Saturday at 4 p.m.
In August, 2003, The Royal Gazette reported that Mr. Tucker, an electrician, was locked up for seven years after admitting importing more than 58 grams of cocaine and heroin.
