BF&M ends on high
BF&M Ltd. was the biggest gainer of the week on The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index (BSX).
The insurer saw its stock rise by $2.20 (11.73 percent) to close up at $20.95, with 14,958 shares traded.
LOM (Holdings) Ltd. and Bermuda Commercial Bank Ltd. also did well, climbing 50 cents (14.29 percent) and 20 cents (1.85 percent) respectively.
KeyTech Ltd. also finished the week on a positive note, up 25 cents (1.67 percent) at $15.25, as 1,896 shares changed hands.
But, fellow utility company, BELCO Holdings Ltd. dropped $1.10 (5.18 percent) to finish on $20.15, with 9,700 shares traded, while Butterfield Bank also fell 10 cents (0.57 percent) to $17.40, with a total of 138, 940 shares traded.
Overall, the Index was up slightly by 6.324 points (0.13 percent) at 4,778.60, with 175,605 shares worth $3,040,865.15 being transacted throughout the week.
