Big week for BSX

A total of 63,120 shares worth $1,090,287.95 were traded on the Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index (BSX) last week.
The Index closed down 58.46 points (1.19 percent) at 4,772.28.
BELCO Holdings Ltd. climbed 25 cents (1.19 percent) to close up at $21.25, with 10,900 shares traded.
But the banking sector was hit hard, with Bermuda Commercial Bank Ltd. ($1.80), LOM (Holdings) Ltd. (50 cents) and Butterfield Bank (15 cents) all seeing their share prices decline.
Bermuda Aviation Services Ltd. also dropped 20 cents (3.2 percent) to finish on$6.05, as 5,000 shares changed hands.
The BSX Insurance Index was also down by 28.76 points (2.5 percent) at 1,120.46.
