Butterfield Bank ended a turbulent week dropping five cents to close down at $17.65 on the Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index (BSX) yesterday.

The Bank traded 5,800 shares throughout the day.

Overall, the Index finished down 7.99 points (0.17 percent) at 4,813.18, with 5,800 shares worth $102,610.35 changing hands.

The BSX Insurance Index, however, was up 4.1 percent at 1,137.80.
