BELCO outshone
BELCO Holdings Ltd. dropped 60 cents (2.7 percent) to close down at $21.40 following a tough day's trading on the Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index (BSX) yesterday.
The utilities company also traded 400 shares throughout the day.
Butterfield Bank also declined by five cents (0.3 percent) to finish on $18.15, with 3,000 shares changing hands.
However, Butterfield Bank bucked the trend, continuing an impressive couple of day's trading, climbing five cents (0.7 percent) to close at $7.50, as 1,400 shares were traded.
As a whole, the Index closed down 18.97 points (0.38 percent) at 4,914.55, with a total of 4,800 shares worth $73,570 changing hands throughout the course of the day.
The BSX Insurance Index nudged up 0.04 percent to close at 1,211.11.
