Talk show callers will get chance to grill the man in charge of the Transport Control Department this afternoon.

Director Randy Brangman will feature on the show hosted by his boss, head of the civil service Kenneth Dill, on KJAZ 98.1 FM between 1 p.m and 2 p.m

The interactive programme was launched earlier this month, promising "to put the public's finger on the pulse of the Bermuda public service".

Speaking to this newspaper after his first show on February 7, Major Dill said: "We need to be proactive and not reactive in respect to providing service to the public. The services that we provide, often times, our clients can't go anywhere else. They have to come to us. They have to go to TCD to get a licence, they have to go to Immigration to get a passport, they have to go to Planning for planning approval. We have a responsibility to treat our clients with respect and integrity and fairly."
