Let the sunshine in tomorrow

During a trip to Reid Street yesterday, The Royal Gazette was stunned to discover row upon row of yellow sweaters still for sale in Marks and Spencer.

Just as alarmingly, a number of shelves in Cooper's menswear store on Front Street remained piled high with yellow shirts.

That's about as far as this newspaper's survey went — but we can't help but worry that not enough people have been stocking themselves up with the appropriate attire for Wear Yellow Day tomorrow. The Royal Gazette thought everywhere would be sold out of yellow by now.

We can only assume readers are leaving it to the last minute before buying the right colour outfits to help us celebrate Sunshine Week.

Either that, or they're concerned that wearing yellow might offend people who think calls for PATI are foolishness.

It's only meant as a bit of fun, so let the sunshine in tomorrow and wear yellow to show your support for public access to information.
