Show your support by wearing yellow on Thursday
It's official — yellow is this spring's must-wear colour, according to the world's top fashion editors.
The sunshine shade was all over the catwalks of the 2008 spring and summer fashion shows — meaning there's no excuse for not donning an item of yellow clothing this Thursday.
The Royal Gazette wants readers to join us in celebrating Sunshine Week by taking part in our Wear Yellow Day. And we're not asking you to make like a canary — a subtle hint of lemon or marigold will do.
In wearing yellow on Thursday, you'll be showing not only that you're bang up to the minute clothes-wise but that you support the introduction of a public access to information law (PATI) in Bermuda. So if you want to be on-trend and an advocate for transparency and accountability, let your outfit do the talking in two days time.
One person who perhaps won't be basking in sunshine is Cabinet Minister David Burch, who fumed in the Senate yesterday that he was "offended" by The Royal Gazette's A Right to Know: Giving People Power campaign, which calls for PATI to be passed in parliament this year. We suspect he won't be working this spring's yellow look...
