La Leche League (LLL) of Bermuda is a registered charity, offering mother-to-mother help and encouragement to women wanting to breastfeed their babies.

LLL holds support group meetings open to pregnant women and breastfeeding mothers on the second Saturday morning, of each month at 10.30 a.m. in the First Floor Conference Room at King Edward Memorial Hospital.

Meeting topics include the benefits of breastfeeding, getting off to a good start, overcoming difficulties and nutrition and healthy families.

An accredited LLL Leader leads meetings, answers questions and provides counselling.

Meeting discussions include the latest medical information, as well as personal experience. Free literature and a lending library are available. Call 236-1120 for further information or for breastfeeding help. Next meeting is April 14.
