Local fraternity, Kappa Alpha Psi, are organising a fun-day which will include a soccer tournament for under- sevens, nines and elevens at the National Sports Centre (NSC) today.
Kappa member Troy Harvey says the organisation are giving the children a chance to enjoy the sport instead of worrying about the constant competition they are exposed to in league play.
"This event was something that was started before we took it over, so we are carrying on the tradition of the extravaganza", Harvey said. "It is a day that kids can all come together and enjoy playing football and have fun in the sun."
The matches kick off at 8.30 a.m. and run throughout the day with the winners of each age group collecting prizes.
