Kaleidoscope Arts Foundation is holding a Cookie Social this afternoon.

Foundation founder Fiona Rose Rodriguez Roberts said a cookie social is a day when the whole family can come together to have fun decorating cookies.

Mrs. Rodriguez Roberts has chosen to combine cookies with arts and crafts in a way that children can enjoy.

“For the children there will be sugar cookies to decorate in rich and wonderful colours,” she said, “And there will also be cookie tins in several sizes that the children can decorate, before filling the tins with scrumptious cookies.”

For adults there will be cookies in beautifully painted tins, mulled wine, eggnog, roasted nuts and Christmas carols.

The Jubilee Road, Devonshire gallery will run the event from 2 until 6 p.m.
