JetBlue Airways will introduce a daily service between Boston and Bermuda from May 1, with fares starting at $99 one-way. Premier Ewart Brown welcomed the news as an exciting development for tourism.
He said last year’s advent of JetBlue service from New York City spurred double-digit growth there at twenty-one percent.
The flight from Boston will depart at 10.40 a.m., arriving at Bermuda International Airport at 2 p.m. The return flight will leave Bermuda at 2.45 p.m. and arrive in Boston at 4.05 p.m., with the seasonal service running until October 31.
