Breaking News: Bermuda fight back against Canada

Bermuda struggled to contain Canada to 260 for seven in the first match of the triangular series in Toronto today which also features the West Indies.

After restricting Canada to 164 for five, Canada’s tail wagged, as the lower order batsmen added 96 runs for the loss of just two more wickets.

Bermuda were 50-1 as they fought back with Jakon Edness on 11 not out and Chris Douglas on 13. Opener Oronde Bascome scored 20 off 19 balls before being out lbw to Baidwan.

The winner of the match is likely to be in the final of the series against West Indies on Sunday. Bermuda also play West Indies on Wednesday.
