Aaron Evans ensured Bermuda came away with at least one medal from the Carifta Games when he grabbed the bronze in the Under-20 boys' 800 metres final yesterday.

Evans, who recently won a scholarship to the University of Memphis, recorded a personal best time during his run on the final day of the championships in St.Kitts.

Ashley Berry also set a national junior record in the 3,000 metres with a time of 10:47.43, placing fifth.

Deanne Lightbourne finished fourth in the girls' 800 metres final, posting a personal best time. Alison Outerbridge placed fourth in the triple jump with all of her jumps being personal bests.
