Bermuda were bowled out for 56, and then saw United Arab Emirates build a commanding lead on the first day of the Intercontinental Shield match at the National Sports Centre.
Chris Foggo (29) was the only Bermuda batsman to get into double figures on a woeful morning for Bermuda, whose innings finished just after lunch.
Abdul Rehman (65) and Arshad Ali (75*) then got UAE off to a flyer as they fininshed the day at 192-2, 137 runs ahead of Bermuda.
