Do you get it?
February 6, 2002
Dear Sir,
Today's letter is a response to a letter I wrote on the subject of school uniforms signed by a Bermudian in uniform in America. I do not want to indulge in a wrangling match with anyone, however I would like to clarify my position on a couple of matters, and touch on a few things I wanted to but did not have room for in my first letter.
Firstly, Bermudian implies that I have an uncooperative and verbally combative approach to something I am not in agreement with. Why, when someone disagrees with something, you are said to be 'uncooperative and combative?
Unfortunately for him, Bermudian is nothing but a mind-controlled puppet who is incapable of thinking outside the box, and it is because of people like him that we have these outdated policies in place. The reason we have kids wear uniforms is so that they can look like everyone else. On top of that, we condition them to think like everyone else and act like everyone else. Think or act differently and you're 'weird'.
Of course children need guidance - that's not what I mean. But whose idea of guidance. We tell children what to eat, drink, say and think from day one. We want them to live in a free world, yet do they really? Bermudian says that we are preparing them for the workplace. Translation; we are preparing them to join the rest of the disillusioned puppets of the world who don't think for themselves - just follow what everyone else does. Don't dare express your own uniqueness - what on earth would everyone else think?
If you're a Muslim - chances are your child will be a Muslim. Same for if you're a Christian, Jew, racist, sexist etc. - chances are your children will be too - because they've been conditioned from day one to think like you do. For example, you're taught in school that there are nine planets with earth being the only one inhabited. Yet if you grow up and say you believe in life on the planets you're scoffed at. Yet it's accepted to believe in an invisible being who sits on a throne in a place called 'Heaven'. Why, because the notion of God has been indoctrinated in most children from the time they are small while the concept of life on other planets is not. We impose our belief systems on them and expect them to accept it from day one. How about giving our children the freedom to think for themselves, and respect their right to think differently from us?
To the people who say that children will then grow to be little delinquents, let me say we create our own reality. That means that if you expect the worse, you will get it. For example, back to the subject of schools, let's take CedarBridge Academy. They say they have children there who act like criminals. Well, if you lock children in, with security guards and cameras and - according to today's paper, their own police officers - what do you expect? It's a prison-like environment and the children are acting accordingly. Kids are then sat down and told to learn what we want you to learn when we want you to learn it - never mind that their brains and psyches are not meant to learn in that way.
After they've been 'taught' they sit all sorts of tests and exams. They then have to repeat what they've been 'taught'. Say what we want you to say and you're a success - say anything differently and you're a failure. So of course they repeat what they've 'learned' - it's the only way to succeed in life, to grow up and join the rest of the mindless robots of the world.
Children who do their own research, think for themselves, question or offer a different reality from the indoctrinated 'norm', do not pass exams and are called a 'disruptive influence.' Teachers teach from a curriculum. Terminological translation: "The version of reality we want you to believe". Follow it or else. It's not the teachers fault - they teach what they are told to teach, not realising they are pawns in a global agenda. And the children find out very early on that life is a lot simpler if you don't question what you hear and just accept it.
Although I seriously doubt it, I am saying all this in the hopes that you will see my point regarding uniforms. Actually, whether you see my point or not doesn't really matter to me. And if you say that I am 'ranting' in this letter, again I really don't care. I know that feedback that will come form this one! If you want to live your version of 'reality', that's fine. And for the record, but at the same time I tell them the 'real deal'. I disagree with uniforms for practical reasons (I'm sure you saw my point of how teachers sometimes go too far), and for all the other reasons I stated above. It is part of the whole system of indoctrination. We all face that choice. Don't make waves - become a clone and follow the rest of the clones in the world - or think for yourself? Everyone should be free to make his or her own choices without fear of being labelled.
"...That you are a slave. Like everyone else you were born into bondage. Born into a prison that you cannot smell or taste or touch - a prison for you mind. Unfortunately, no one can be told what the Matrix is - you have to see it for yourself... I'm trying to free your mind. But I can only show you the door. You're the one who has to walk through it."
From The Matrix, Warner Bros. 1999. If you haven't seen this movie, I suggest you do. I also suggest that you not only watch it, but GET it.
