A man was being questioned by Police last night in connection with the recovery of a firearm from outside a nightclub.

Bermuda Police Service spokesman Dwayne Caines said officers recovered the weapon from near Splash, in Bermudiana Road, in the early hours of Saturday. "Police are investigating. A man is in Police custody and is assisting Police."

He added that the man was expected to appear in court in connection with the investigation in the near future.
