Woman finds burglar in her home
A woman woke early in the morning to find a stranger in her room who stole cash and personal items before running off. The incident happened at 6.15 a.m. on Sunday at a home in North Court Avenue, Pembroke.
The intruder, who is described as approximately 5ft 10in, medium build and wearing dark clothing with a hooded top, took a beige purse, which contained cash and personal items. In a second burglary on Sunday a pair of Nike sneakers and some cash were reported missing at 10.50 p.m. from a home in Glebe Road, Pembroke.
The complainants said they left home at 1 p.m. that day and when they returned they noticed someone had entered the residence. There were five other burglaries in Pembroke and one in Southampton over the weekend.
Also this weekend, were 19 reported damage-only road traffic accidents, five traffic accidents that resulted in injury and four people arrested on suspicion of impaired driving.
