Bermuda AA say it's all about change
Alcoholics Anonymous of Bermuda will be staging its annual convention this US Thanksgiving weekend at the Hamilton Princess.
More than 50 visitors from the US and Canada are expected to join locals for the November 27 to 29 convention.
And three overseas speakers will give lectures on this year's theme, `It's All About Change'.
Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share experiences, strength and hope with each other so that they may solve common problems and help others to recover from alcoholism.
The only requirement for AA membership is a desire to stop drinking -- there are no dues or fees.
There are 18 AA meetings a week in Bermuda, with at least one meeting every day of the week. For details about the meetings or the convention call AA's 24 hour answering service at 236-8293.
