Bermuda Healthcare Services has renewed its sponsorship commitment with Pembroke Hamilton Club.

The private medical facility founded and chaired by Ewart Brown has donated $10,000 to the club that will go towards their football programme for the upcoming 2021-22 season.

“Today we enter a 12-year collaboration with Pembroke Hamilton Club,” Mahesh Reddy, the BHCS medical director, said at a press conference held at the Paget facility yesterday. “Bermuda Healthcare Services believes in strengthening the community by supporting well-structured programmes that are designed to guide and develop our young people to meet their fullest potential.”

He added: “Even in the midst of this pandemic, we at Bermuda Healthcare Services are delighted to continue our longstanding relationship with the Pembroke Hamilton Club.

“In closing, I also want to say vaccines are safe. They save lives and they are our way out of this pandemic.”

Trott thanked the medical organisation for its continued support.

“On behalf of the PHC executive and its members, we want to thank the Bermuda Healthcare Services for their 12 years of support for our programmes and we look forward to maintaining this relationship in the future,” he said.

Domestic football, which has been in abeyance since December last year, resumes on Saturday night when Dandy Town and Devonshire Cougars meet at Goose Gosling Field.

PHC begin their season on Sunday with a home fixture against Robin Hood at PHC Field.
