Nine-year-old Clementine Keyes claimed a hat-trick of titles as play continued yesterday in the Minute Maid junior tennis tournament at the WER Joell Stadium.

Often overshadowed by elder brother Jack, Keyes came to the fore, winning her Under-10, Under-12 and Under-14 singles finals.

In the Under-14 event she defeated Ryanne Bardgett, 6-1, 6-0 and in the Under-12 final overcame Jessica D?Estrella 6-1, 6-1, having also clinched the Under-10 title with an 8-0 victory over Michelle Caza.

In other action, Paul Simons defeated James Spence 6-3, 6-0 and started his semi-final against Jack Keyes before rain delayed play.

Christopher Rego, meanwhile, beat Andrew Forgesson, his doubles partner, 7-5, 6-4 before the two players teamed up to defeat Christopher Cooper and Ben Green 6-4, 6-0 in the Under-12 doubles.
