Bermuda makes top 20 in Caribbean best destinations list

Bermuda in Travel and Leisure Magazine’s Top 25 Islands in the Caribbean, Bermuda and Bahamas list.

Bermuda has been ranked among the top 20 Caribbean destination islands by readers of Travel and Leisure Magazine.

The publication’s annual Top 25 feature listed Bermuda as the 17th best island in the Caribbean, Bermuda and Bahamas.

The placement came as a result of the World’s Best Awards survey, in which visitors gave the island an average score of 85.45 out of 100.

While the score was high enough to beat out Jamaica, the Cayman Islands, Barbados and Tortola among others, Bermuda fell behind destinations including St Vincent, Anguilla, St Lucia and the Turks and Caicos.

The category was won by Dominica, which scored an average of 91 out of 100 – enough to make it the eighth most popular island destination in the world.

The publication also included a list of top 25 hotels and resorts in the region, but no Bermuda hotels made the list.
