California pop band Hellogoodbye were new at number 10 h Here (In Your Arms).<$>

In the UK album charts Sheffield rockers the Arctic Monkeys remained at number one for a second week with their critically acclaimed Favourite Worst Nightmare.

Canadian crooner Michael Bublas new at number two with Call Me Irresponsible, a collection of jazz and big band standards.

The week’s other new albums in the top ten were Because Of You >from R&B artist Ne-Yo and NB<$> from London pop singer Natasha Bedingfield.

By comparison, 20.7 million people saw the previous record-holder, Pirates of the Cbbean: Dead Man’s Chest<$>, over its $135.6 million opening weekend, based on last year’s average ticket price of $6.55.
