JaKoMa Entertainment is self-described as “a proud group of young adults whose enthusiasm is driven by the desire to assist and mould those who have a love for entertainment, and want to express and showcase their talents. They have selflessly given so much to the community, and to the local talents simply because they love entertainment”.

Co-founded by Lamont Robinson in 1999, who is also its senior CEO, Daren Herbert, CEO/co-founder; and Jonathan Talbot; other members are Mateka Card, president; Mariam Smith, vice-president; Jacquelyn Napier, general manager; Pahn-ya Ratteray, events manager; Renita Minors, promotions manager; Tina Caisey, house manager, William Wolffe, stage manager; Christopher Burgess, assistant stage manager; and Cha-Von Clarke, public relations/promotions manager.

JaKoMa Entertainment’s primary goal is to develop Bermuda’s artists and showcase their talent in the community. With this in mind, it has put together workshops and grooming sessions to enhance this talent. Its aim is to be recognised as the most comprehensive and vivacious entertainment company which scouts, develops and showcases the largest selection of local talent for all occasions.

Works-in-progress include the opening of a fashion and performance school, and an all-talent agency, both of which will be launched in the near future.
