A win-win party situation
An open bar, ladies' choice DJs and a beautiful Bermuda beach are three components of a perfect party, High Tide Ladies Night party organiser believe.
Barmuvinjam is setting the stage for another one of their infamous parties. This time, the venue is larger, ladies can attend for free and the alcohol will be ever-flowing!
For those of you who haven't been to a Barmuvinjam bash, they are known for a whole lot of jumping up and down, getting sweaty and dancing the night away.
The Royal Gazette spoke with the organisers/promoters of the event to find out exactly what will be going down tomorrow night at Chaplin Bay.
The fete is called "High Tide, A Ladies Night Out". Jason Sukdeo of Barmuvinjam explained how the name came to be.
"The event was originally scheduled for last Saturday which was a full moon. A full moon will bring a higher tide.
"So while respecting the promoters of the Heineken Full Moon Party, we chose to call our event High Tide.
"We are also being true to the real meaning of a Ladies Night Out.
"The major benefit to the change in date and venue is the ability to better accommodate the large response we have had thus far. This will be an event you won't want to miss!"
He said with each Barmuvinjam event, the group tries to bring partygoers a new experience.
"The concept behind hosting an open-bar event is not new," he said. "It is very popular in other countries.
"The reason for its popularity is because it increases the value of your dollar. It's a win-win situation for both the promoter and the patrons."
Because Barmuvinjam is known for their high energy, have-a-great-time type of parties, The Royal Gazette>had to know what is in store for attendees.
"To be honest, we are going to bring an ol' fashion good time! We have reserved the bells and whistles for other events. This is just a time to enjoy the beauty of Bermuda and dance the night away," said Mr. Sudkeo.
"The ladies choice Shock-N-Lust will be playing the hits along with up and coming DJs Young Gunz and Immortal Vybz.
No Barmuvinjam event would be complete without a healthy dose of good Soca music. Bermuda's Number one Soca DJ, D'General, will surely make the crowd break out in a sweat."
Barmuvinjam events strictly cater to a mature, over-25 crowd and this event is no different.
Mr. Sukdeo said the target audience is a professional group with Bermuda's diverse culture and backgrounds combined.
"Simply put, mature folks who are looking for a safe, inexpensive and quality event, no matter where you're from," he said.
This party is different for the promotion company because it is their first major outdoor event.
They are also looking to reach a larger audience. The attire for the party is simple: Come dressed for the beach.
There will also be surprises in store, typical of Barmuvinjam.
Ladies will receive free admission before 11.30 p.m. and drink free all night.
Guys have to pay $40 in advance and tickets are available only from a Barmuvinjam executive board member.
There will be a limit on the attendance so fellas are urged to get their tickets early.
