Smooth Entertainment is celebrating its sixth anniversary with a special party at Horseshoe Bay Beach this Saturday.

“This is a chance for us to celebrate, six years of providing exclusive entertainment in Bermuda,” said Arthur Godwin of Smooth Entertainment. “It is all about celebrating. You have some cases where some promoters come and some go, but I am in it for the long haul.”

Mr. Godwin said he had organised between 22 and 30 events over the years.

“Challenges are organisation, communication and time,” said Mr. Godwin. “Time is money. We need letters for sponsorship. Staff can be an issue. Other challenges include venues, because location, location, location plays a big part. Sometimes the people are the challenge. Sometimes there may be three or four other events on the same night.”

Mr. Godwin said Smooth Entertainment was known for providing exclusive entertainment for the ladies.

“As you know we spoil and romance, and now we will add something new, we pamper,” said Mr. Godwin. “When you come to the anniversary party, it will be underneath the stars on the Horseshoe Bay Beach Terrace. There will be a lot of surprises and pampering. Plus, it is Father’s Day also. I want the fathers to realise that the Secret models from Secrets will be in the house. They can also check out Secrets Father’s Day Show at the Snorkel Park and then come down to the Horseshoe Bay beach.”

There will be a strictly enforced dress code of pink for the ladies and white for the men. Tickets will be available at the door and will be $15 before midnight and $20 after. Special drinks, catering and strawberry concoctions will be provided.
