The Empress arrives
The Empress of The Seas cruise ship arrived in Bermuda yesterday and will leave the Island tomorrow.
The Oleander arrived in Bermuda from Port Elizabeth, New Jersey on Tuesday, carrying 199 containers, 36 of them refrigerated. It departed Bermuda yesterday.
It also brought 13 flatbeds, one trailer cows, five trucks, one crane, one excavator, one telescopic handler, one boat trailer and one boat on a trailer.
Cable ship the>Cable Innovator arrived in Dockyard yesterday and is expected to remain on the Island for a few months.
Norwegian Majesty will dock in Bermuda today, at Penno’s Warf in St. George’s and will leave on Friday.
Cruise ShipPrinsendam will arrive this morning at Hamilton docks five and six before leaving for New York this afternoon.
The Bermuda Islander will arrive tomorrow from Salem, New Jersey, bringing 160 dry containers including 23 refrigerated.
Cement Vessel Fayal Cement will arrive tomorrow in Dockyard to unload shipments of cement before departing Saturday evening.
Last Friday, Bermuda Maritime Operations received a phone call from a concerned relative of the owner of the 30 ft power-craft, Harpoon.
The vessel had left for a fishing trip at 7 a.m. intending to return at lunchtime, but had not been heard from since.
After several radio broadcasts from Bermuda Radio Harpoon called in to report it was anchored off Commissioner’s Point with a flat battery. The boat was later safely towed ashore by Marine Police Unit Heron III.
