Police rule out drugs in man's death

Police say they believe drugs played no part in the death of a British man found in a vacant house on Saturday.

The body of David Walker, 62, of Pembroke, was discovered at a property in Deepdale Road East late in the evening.

Broadcasters reported claims by neighbours that the house was frequented by drug users, but last night Police said they had ruled out drugs in the cause of Mr Walker's death.

A Police spokesman said: "The autopsy has been completed and a report will be forwarded to the Coroner; however, there are no suspicious circumstances.

"The official cause of death will be released in due course."
