Traffic will be affected at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital from Saturday while road-resurfacing works are carried out, the Bermuda Hospitals Board said today.

The work will take place near the entrance to the acute care wing, and will affect people travelling on foot or by vehicle in that area.

“Please use caution as both the roadway and the pedestrian sidewalk will be narrowed to facilitate the works,” the BHB said.

The disruption will begin on May 3 and is to last until May 12.

During the period of the works, designated parking for clergy, People’s ACW pharmacy and taxis, as well as four bays for motorists with disabilities, will be unavailable.

The BHB said: “We request that all visitors use the main visitor parking lot.

“We apologise for any disruption this may cause and appreciate your understanding and co-operation.”
