BIU meeting to delay services on Friday
A meeting of Bermuda Industrial Union members will affect government transportation services tomorrow.
No bus or ferry services will be available during the period, a spokeswoman said, and residents were urged to arrange alternative transport between 2pm and 4pm.
The session will also delay trash collection, postal delivery, parks and other services, but all services will resume as normal after the meeting.
The Bermuda Industrial Union membership meeting will interrupt the following ferry routes tomorrow, Friday, September 5:
Blue route
Dockyard: 2.15pm, 4pm, 5pm; Hamilton: 1.30pm, 3.15pm
Pink route
Hamilton: 3.45pm; Salt Kettle: 3.50pm; Darrell’s Wharf: 3.55pm; Belmont: 4pm
Green route
Hamilton: 4.10pm; Rockaway: 4.30pm; Cavello Bay: 4.40pm; Watford Bridge: 4.50pm
Orange route (Dockyard, St George’s) will be unaffected
