Comment demonstrates political hypocrisy

Dear Sir,
I do not feel good about the glowing comment on Henry Kissinger made by an opinion piece writer on page 7 of the April 23, 2026 paper.
I remember in 1979 when Kissinger said that if Iran does not give its oil to the USA, then they should go over there and take it. I never heard a comment on his words.
Why is it that, if someone steals a loaf of bread and a bottle of beer, imprisonment is the expected punishment, but stealing oil is treated as politics as normal?
I concluded many years ago that the biggest thieves never see the inside of a prison.
